We had our Fezziwig Ball on December 23, and I do believe it was a success! We won't win any prizes as elegant dancers, but we sure had a great deal of fun. The above picture of my brother and I is one of my favorites. Click on the picture to go to Flickr for more photos from the evening.

Ooh! I just love your dress, so beautiful!
The ball looks like so much fun. Do you have any tips for getting brothers to dress up and do country dances? I think if I broached the subject with my brother (and his friends) he would just look at me in bewilderment then walk away!
Oh my! You look stunning! Everyone looks wonderful, and it looks like it was a lot of fun!
Thanks all! Hopefully I will get more chances to wear my Regency gown again. Erin, I'm not sure how to get brothers to dance if they're unwilling -- maybe wait until they mature?! :) (I'm not sure how old yours is -- mine's 26 and not averse to a little dancing.)
Hmm, possibly age is a factor - my brother is 20, 2 years younger than me.
I always thought he'd be a bit more mature by now :).
