These towels, alas, do not hang in my kitchen, but at the museum where my sister-in-law works. I dearly love the embroidery and stripes, though!

Hi Laura! Those towels are very cute! I've never noticed them at the museum before! I'll have to look more closely next time I go to the museum. I bet you could make towels almost identical to those!
Hi Louisa, they are in that relatively "new" old house, in the kitchen area. Take a look at the curtains in the kitchen, too -- they are pretty neat. :-) Maybe I will reproduce the embroidery sometime -- it would look really cute on a tea cozy!
