Dress sketch

My Grandma Leora gave me this sketch that she found in an old letter (I didn't see the letter, so I don't know anything about where it came from or why it was drawn). Judging by the style, I'd say it's from the early to mid-1930s. The clothes at this time were so elegant because of the columnar lines. No wonder it's my favorite era!

Hi! I just wanted to let you know that I stopped by and thoroughly enjoyed your blog! Especially the flower photos! (I love flowers.) Thanks to your inspiring creations shared on the S&S Board, and a chance finding of a 30s-inspired bias-cut dress that actually suits me, I've fallen in love with 30s fashions. I've spent the last half hour pouring over the EvaDress patterns. I don't think I'll be able to resist the call of those gorgeous patterns long...I see another project developing soon!
